West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Band 8c Head of Commercial Contract Lead for the Pathology Business Unit at Watford General Hospital. The role leads high-value outsourced pathology contracts across Hertfordshire and West Essex and reports to senior leadership.

The post is a 24-month fixed-term or secondment, 37.5 hours per week, based at Watford Hospital, with travel to partner sites as required.

Qualificações

• Significant experience of high-value contracts and complex negotiations.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder-management and financial governance skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the management of the Pathology Services Agreement, Laboratory Services Agreement and Trust Services Agreement, acting as the principal commercial contact for contracting authorities.
• Lead complex contract negotiations and amendments; monitor activity, finance, quality and KPIs, and ensure actions where performance falls below contractual requirements.
• Provide senior commercial and financial advice; develop budgets, forecasts, business cases and long-term financial models; present to Boards and executives.
• Chair performance meetings, produce reports, business cases, lead service improvement and change, and manage relevant pathology contract teams.
