Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Senior Passive Fire Site Manager / Contracts Manager to oversee fire stopping, compartmentation and fire door works across multiple sites in the Luton and Hatfield area. You will manage subcontractors and site teams, ensuring delivery to safety, compliance and certification standards.

The role combines site and contracts management, including reviewing drawings, managing certification requirements and maintaining audit trails through to handover.

Qualifications

• Senior specialist in passive fire protection with oversight of multiple sites.
• NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management or equivalent is required.
• Passive fire or fire stopping qualification is required.
• Experience with managing multiple concurrent projects and subcontractor teams is essential.
• Strong knowledge of FIRAS, BM TRADA and IFC certification schemes is essential.
• DBS check, SMSTS, CSCS and full UK driving licence are required.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the delivery of fire stopping, compartmentation and fire door works across multiple projects.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise passive fire works across sites in the Luton and Hatfield area.
• Manage subcontractors and site teams, providing technical guidance and ensuring works meet standards.
• Implement and monitor quality control processes including inspections and sign-off procedures.
• Manage third-party certification requirements and ensure operatives work within scope.
• Review drawings, specifications and surveys to confirm fire strategy requirements.
• Identify risks and non-compliance issues and escalate as needed.
• Maintain audit trails and support project handovers to required standards.
• Support procurement with selection of compliant materials and systems.
