Job summary

AWS is hiring a Senior Partner Solutions Architect to lead technical strategy for large, multi-workload deals with Global System Integrators. You’ll own architecture and deal strategy from opportunity to delivery readiness, coordinating across AWS and partner teams.

Location: UK/NL/DE/ES with roughly 25% travel. Expect to shape deals, build business cases, and drive customer outcomes through scalable, well-architected solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients.
• Experience architecting or deploying Cloud/Virtualization solutions in enterprise customers.
• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex pursuits. Own the technical strategy for multi-workload, multi-account, often multi-region deals worth $10M+ ARR, and make the final call on architecture.
• Engage early and shape the deal. Run deal clinics with GSI partners to build and qualify pipeline, shaping the technical approach and the commercial framing.
• Bring architectural rigour. Enforce Well-Architected design, size workloads, de-risk the technical path, and build the business case (TCO, ROI).
• Orchestrate the ecosystem. Align GSI deal teams, AWS account teams, specialists, and service teams around one executable plan.
• Support the deal mechanics with translation into practical terms, milestones, funding and consumption while working with partner to stay aligned.
• Hand off cleanly and move on to the next high-value pursuit, aligning consumption model to the partner’s milestones.
