Job summary

AWS EMEA SARL (UK Branch) is seeking an experienced solutions architect to lead large, complex GSI-driven deals. You’ll own the technical strategy for multi-workload, multi-account, often multi-region engagements valued at $10M+ ARR and make final architectural calls.

You’ll shape deals with partners, enforce Well-Architected standards, and align AWS teams around executable plans. You will translate roadmaps into costed AWS solutions, develop business cases, and build scalable reference

Qualifications

• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients.
• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• Experience architecting or deploying Cloud/Virtualization solutions in enterprise customers.
• Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
• Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex pursuits and own the technical strategy for multi-workload deals.
• Engage early to shape the deal with GSI partners.
• Enforce Well-Architected design and size workloads.
• Align GSI deal teams and AWS account teams around a plan.
• Translate technical plans into practical deal terms (milestones, funding, consumption).
• Build playbooks and reusable patterns for scalable engagements.
• Collaborate with Partner Development Managers and account teams.
