Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Architect to join the Global Financial Services (GFS) team in London. You will design scalable, secure cloud architectures and partner with AWS Sales to accelerate adoption among large financial institutions across EMEA.

You will act as a trusted technical advisor to executives, guiding cloud migration, cloud-native development, and AI adoption while contributing to the SA community through mentorship and thought leadership.

Qualifications

Experience in software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.

Responsibilities

Architect, build, and migrate applications, software, and services on AWS platform.
Collaborate with sales to drive AWS adoption and revenue.
Advise senior technical leaders on technology strategy in Financial Services.
Lead architecture discussions ensuring secure, scalable, cost-optimized solutions.
Create reusable reference architectures and best-practice content for the SA community.
Mentor other Solutions Architects and contribute to team capability growth.
Publicly represent AWS thought leadership through speaking and content creation.
Conduct training sessions for customers evaluating or using AWS.
