Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to work on substation design projects in Birmingham. This role involves providing technical leadership on critical projects in the power and energy sector, ensuring quality assurance and effective communication with clients.

Ideal candidates will have a strong educational background in electrical engineering, with experience in P&C design. The position also offers professional development opportunities and a flexible work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical engineering with a focus on P&C design, preferably up to 400kV.
• Minimum 2.2 BEng in an Electrical Engineering discipline, Energy Systems or Renewable Energy.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on FEED and Detailed Design workstreams for National Grid and SSEN.
• Ensure quality assurance and technical governance of deliverables including protection schemes.
• Building strong relationships with clients and understanding their needs.
