Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to join our Powergrids team in the United Kingdom. You will work on a variety of projects from feasibility through detailed design, with collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

You will mentor junior engineers, lead technical work, and coordinate with clients while applying design expertise in steel and reinforced concrete to UK and international standards. A Chartered Engineer status is desirable.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Chartered Engineer and ICE/IStructE membership desirable.
• Strong technical background with steel and reinforced concrete design per UK/international codes/standards.
• Experience in electricity supply industry, preferably HV substations, desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Supervising, developing and mentoring others on projects.
• Managing technical aspects of civil/structural engineering projects across design phases.
• Pricing works and preparing technical proposals.
