AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to work on substation design projects in Birmingham. This role involves providing technical leadership on critical projects in the power and energy sector, ensuring quality assurance and effective communication with clients.

Our team is looking for engineers with an understanding of electrical engineering, power systems, and energy markets, who are keen to develop their knowledge and make a meaningful contribution to the energy sector. In this role, you’ll be part of a team working on substation design projects, with a focus on electricity transmission and distribution networks. You’ll also have opportunities to support projects across the wider Power & Energy Solutions team and AtkinsRéalis business. Some of our clients include National Grid, SSEN, and other organisations both in the UK and internationally. You’ll gain experience delivering multi‑disciplinary design projects from Front End Engineering Design (FEED) to Detailed Design.
