Job summary

NHS Grampian invites applications for a Band 7 Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist at Seafield Hospital, Buckie, Moray. The post is 24.5 hours (0.68 WTE) on a permanent basis, joining the Moray Community Hospitals OT Team to deliver inpatient services to 22 beds.

• Post-graduate training and experiential knowledge in occupational therapy.
• Willingness to undertake further training and supervision of junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient OT services to Seafield Hospital's 22 beds.
• Assess and treat patients with complex conditions to enable safe discharge home.
• Provide a community rehabilitation service to Buckie and Cullen locality.
• Be clinically supervised by Lead OT and supervise Band 3 Therapy Support Workers.
• Collaborate with Moray localities and multidisciplinary teams.
