Job summary

NHS Grampian invites applications for an Occupational Therapy Team Lead (Band 7) at Kincardine Community Hospital, Stonehaven. This part-time role (28 hours per week) combines clinical leadership, operational management and service development within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.

Based at Kincardine Community Hospital, the post leads the OT team and carries a clinical caseload across community and hospital settings, supporting admission avoidance and timely discharge.

Qualifications

• Hold a Degree (or equivalent) in Occupational Therapy.
• Be registered with the HCPC.
• Be able to meet the travel requirements of the post across the Kincardine and Mearns locality, by holding a valid UK driving licence and access to a car for business use.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the OT team within Kincardine and Mearns.
• Provide operational leadership and day-to-day management while maintaining a clinical caseload.
• Contribute to service development and redesign initiatives with Aberdeenshire OT colleagues and partners.
• Support student education and workforce development across the team.
