Job summary

NHS Tayside invites applications for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the acute inpatient team at Perth Royal Infirmary. You will manage your own caseload, provide clinical assessment, treatment and rehabilitation to patients within the older persons medicine pathway.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team with strong communication and decision making, and contribute to service development while supporting junior OT staff and participating in supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience as OT in physical rehabilitation services.
• Excellent communication and decision making skills.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team in an integrated Health and Social Care setting.
• Support and supervise junior OT staff with regular supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessment, treatment and rehabilitation to patients across the older persons medicine pathway.
• Hold your own caseload within the acute inpatient team.
• Support junior OT staff and engage in regular supervision.
