Job summary

NHS Grampian seeks an enthusiastic Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join the Kincardine Community Hospital team in Stonehaven. This permanent, full-time post offers 36 hours per week and a varied caseload to support patients to maximise independence and safe discharge from hospital.

Working within a friendly multidisciplinary team, you will assess, treat and discharge plan with colleagues across hospital and community services, with ongoing CPD and supervision opportunities.

Qualifications

• MSc/BSc in Occupational Therapy.
• HCPC registration (or eligible).
• Enthusiasm for community hospital rehabilitation and discharge planning.
• Full UK driving licence with car access.

Responsibilities

• Manage a designated caseload and provide OT assessment and intervention.
• Support patients to maximise independence and safe discharge from hospital.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across hospital and community services.
• Opportunity to supervise OT support staff and students.
