Job summary

NHS Grampian is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to lead the Occupational Therapy team at Kincardine Community Hospital, Stonehaven. This part-time Band 7 role combines clinical leadership with operational management and service development within the Kincardine and Mearns locality.

The post holder will supervise the OT team, maintain a clinical caseload, and work within a multidisciplinary environment to deliver person-centred care across community and hospital settings.

Qualifications

• Hold a Degree (or equivalent) in Occupational Therapy.
• Be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Be able to meet travel requirements across the Kincardine and Mearns locality, by holding a valid UK driving licence and access to a car for business use.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership and day-to-day management of the Occupational Therapy team within Kincardine and Mearns, while maintaining a clinical caseload.
• Lead a well-established OT team and work as part of a wider multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
• Contribute to student education, workforce development, quality improvement and service redesign initiatives across Aberdeenshire OT.
• Lead supervision, support and development of Occupational Therapists and Support Workers; manage workloads effectively.
