Job summary

NHS Grampian is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a Band 6 role based at Kincardine Community Hospital, Stonehaven. The post involves assessment, treatment and discharge planning for community hospital patients, with some post-discharge follow-up in the community for rehab and enablement.

The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team, manage a diverse caseload and support OT students.

Qualifications

• Registered Occupational Therapist with valid UK licence.
• Experience in hospital/community rehab caseload management.
• Experience supervising OT support staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat and discharge plan for community hospital patients.
• Provide follow-up community rehab and enablement where needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for integrated care.
• Supervise OT support workers and contribute to service development.
