Job summary

National Highways in Bristol seeks a Lead Operational Technology Compliance Manager to provide specialist leadership and independent assurance across the OT environment. The role shapes how compliance is understood, demonstrated and improved, working with the OTSE, Quality and Test, and the Digital Services Directorate.

You will influence governance, embed assurance early in delivery, and ensure evidence-based compliance across projects and supplier activity, delivering safer road services

Qualifications

• Familiarity with quality-controlled environments, e.g., ISO 9001.
• Detailed knowledge of roadside OT infrastructure and lifecycle requirements.
• Ability to influence across teams and senior stakeholders.
• Experience delivering assurance and governance across OT projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead National Highways' compliance governance across the OT lifecycle with evidence-based reporting.
• Provide independent assurance, challenge, and escalation to senior stakeholders.
• Embed assurance earlier in delivery with OTSE, Quality and Test, and procurement partners.
• Assess impact of new requirements on programmes and assets; ensure proper incorporation.
• Drive continuous improvement and use data analytics to identify trends and improvements.
