Job summary

National Highways is seeking a Lead Operational Technology Compliance Manager to provide specialist compliance leadership and independent assurance across our OT environment. You will work with the OTSE team and suppliers to embed governance and ensure evidence-based decisions that support safer, more reliable road services.

This role shapes how compliance is understood and demonstrated, driving continuous improvement and leveraging analytics and AI tools to identify trends while coordinating

Qualifications

• Capable of making and guiding effective decisions with clear reasoning.
• Ability to see wider implications beyond technical problems.
• Familiarity with working in quality-controlled environments (ISO 9001).
• Detailed knowledge of roadside OT infrastructure and lifecycle requirements.
• Understanding of delivery lifecycle and management of technology schemes across the motorway network.

Responsibilities

• Lead the roadside OT compliance process with evidence-based lifecycle governance.
• Oversee supplier submissions, risks, findings and improvement actions with senior escalation.
• Provide independent assurance to ensure projects meet OT standards and governance.
• Embed assurance early in delivery with OTSE, Quality and Test, and partners.
• Drive continuous improvement using data analytics and AI insights.
