Job summary

National Highways is seeking a Lead Operational Technology Compliance Manager within the Digital Services Directorate. You will provide specialist compliance leadership and independent assurance across the Operational Technology environment, working with OTSE and the wider Digital Services team to ensure safe, reliable road network operations.

You will embed assurance early in delivery, oversee supplier submissions, and report to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality-controlled environments, e.g. ISO 9001.
• Detailed knowledge of roadside operational technology infrastructure and its lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead National Highways' OT compliance processes and evidence-based assurance across the OT lifecycle.
• Oversee supplier compliance submissions, risks, findings and improvement actions with escalation to senior stakeholders.
• Embed assurance early in delivery by collaborating with OTSE, Quality and Test, projects, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Assess impact of new or amended requirements on programmes and OT assets; ensure requirements are understood and incorporated.
• Drive continuous improvement of OT assurance, using data, analytics and emerging AI tools to identify trends.
