Job summary

Viridor Limited is seeking an Operations Support Technician for the ERF site in Beddington. The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a salary of £47,920.13 per year and eligibility for an annual bonus along with a range of benefits.

You will support the operations team, plan, implement and monitor systems to maximise efficiency while ensuring health, safety and environmental compliance, and supervise contractors as needed to keep plant availability high.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills at all levels, both verbal and written.
• Ability to carry out team briefings and detailed shift handovers.
• Experience with safety documentation and permits to work.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the operations team at the ERF site in Beddington.
• Plan, implement and monitor systems to maximise process efficiency and compliance.
• Supervise contractors on site and cover for shift operatives when required.
• Maintain effective communication across the site and adapt to changing duties.
