Job summary

Viridor Limited in Dunbar is seeking an Electrical Technician to maintain and repair electrical equipment at the ERF plant. The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 16:00. Salary is £49,129 per year with annual bonus and on-call responsibilities.

You will support other disciplines, coordinate contractors, and ensure safe, compliant operation while focusing on continuous improvement and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical maintenance/installation in heavy engineering environments.
• Official electrical trade qualifications and apprenticeship completed.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and unplanned maintenance to ensure safe operation of the ERF plant.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors as required.
• Perform fault diagnosis, troubleshooting and rectification.
• Maintain accurate reporting in the CMMS.
• Ensure activities comply with safety rules and environmental requirements.
