Job summary

Precision Medicine Group is seeking a Senior Operations Specialist to drive process improvement and operational excellence across study delivery for Sponsors. You will create and implement change management plans and standards, collaborating with diverse stakeholders to optimize efficiency and quality.

The role supports the Business & Operational Excellence group, leading initiatives, documenting processes, and tracking KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years in change management, operations support, and process improvement experience.
• Experience in CRO/pharmaceutical/biotechnology drug development or demonstrated competency in the key areas of the role.
• Strong drug development experience with understanding of other functions relevant to the position.

Responsibilities

• Support the vision of continuous improvement in operational excellence across activities.
• Lead evaluation of business processes and workflows to identify improvements or automation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in root-cause analysis to identify core challenges.
• Develop recommendations for process improvement leveraging SMEs for input.
• Partner with cross-functional leadership to prioritize improvements and support initiatives.
• Design and implement new business processes with organizational priorities in mind.
• Lead change management initiatives and communicate impact across roles.
• Lead internal communication on progress, issues, and blockers.
• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Ensure documentation of business processes and maintain templates.
• Establish KPIs and dashboards for monitoring performance.
• Provide training guidance on new processes and opportunities.
• Support standardized practices across the organization and ensure sustainability.
• Monitor effectiveness of initiatives and make adjustments as needed.
• Monitor adoption of changes to ensure long-term uptake.
• Prepare and maintain tools and templates to support execution.
• Schedule meetings, take notes, and track actions.
• Travel as needed.
