Qualifications

• Proven experience in an Operations Manager or similar senior role.
• Strong background in utilities, electrical infrastructure, power networks or related technical environment.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and external contractors.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day operational activities across electrical and utility infrastructure projects.
• Oversee delivery from planning and mobilisation through to construction, commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate internal engineering, project and site teams with external contractors and suppliers.
• Ensure programmes are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budgets.
• Provide technical and operational leadership across electrical infrastructure projects.
• Develop and implement effective operational processes and performance standards.
• Monitor performance, identify risks, delays, and opportunities for improvement.
• Manage contractor performance to meet programmes and safety requirements.
• Engage with clients, DNOs, suppliers and stakeholders for successful delivery.
• Support commercial management including budgets and cost control.
