Job summary

Regen Solutions Ltd is seeking a senior leader to manage the Electrical Division, overseeing the full project lifecycle from pre-construction to delivery and handover. The role emphasizes bid management, client liaison, and delivery excellence across public and private sectors.

Responsibilities cover pre-construction to live works, with emphasis on bid strategy, mobilisation, procurement, cost control, and maintaining high technical standards for diverse electrical projects.

Qualifications

• Ideally from an electrical background with relevant technical qualifications.
• Strong understanding of the sector and client base.
• Proven experience in bid management and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Review potential bid opportunities, assessing risk and viability.
• Develop bid strategies covering both commercial and quality elements.
• Manage the full bid process to ensure compliant and successful submissions.
• Lead client and consultant queries during the post-tender period.
• Lead pre-construction design development with consultants and third-party specialists.
• Agree commercial and operational targets.
• Develop mobilisation and procurement strategies.
• Liaise with foremen and leads to ensure programme compliance.
• Monitor cost and value, reporting regularly to senior management and directors.
• Act as the lead representative in client and design team meetings.
• Identify, manage, and cost project variations.
• Identify and deliver added value opportunities for clients.
• Manage and develop the direct labour workforce.
• Maintain and build strong client relationships.
• Maintain high technical standards and innovation.
• Provide regular reporting to senior management and directors.

Job description

As part of a much wider group, the electrical division operates with a turnover of approximately £8m delivering a mix of compliance EICR contracts and project works supporting the larger business.

Project delivery spans both public and private sector environments.

Typical projects include:

• Lateral main replacements and electrical distribution upgrades
• Electrical installations within conversion schemes (small power, distribution, fire & smoke systems, access control)
• School refurbishment projects (lighting, power, fire and life safety systems)

The Role:

This is a senior leadership role responsible for managing the Electrical Division. The role covers the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction through to delivery and client handover.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Construction
