Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Head of Operations to lead the community and diagnostic services portfolio within its Care Group in Nottingham. The role focuses on operational leadership, demand management, and performance improvement, with system-facing projects such as Young Onset Dementia.

The post is part of a triumvirate leadership model with the Head of Patient Safety, Quality & Experience and includes on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Master's level qualification or equivalent experience in the public or private sector including NHS.
• Level 6 or above relevant managerial qualification and/or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience managing people, services and resources in the NHS or related sectors.
• Experience leading change, workforce transformation and cultural development.
• Budget management including planning, monitoring and reporting.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day operational leadership for an agreed portfolio of services within the Care Group.
• Ensure patients have seamless access to a care offer delivered through Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-Led services.
• Be accountable for governance, operational delivery, performance, financial decision making and transformation under the Trust's framework.
• Manage operational demand and lead performance improvement plans.
• Lead service development and transformation currently underway.
• Lead system-facing projects such as Young Onset Dementia and MAS redesign.
• Undertake on-call duties.
• Work in a triumvirate leadership model with other senior leads.
