Senior Commercial Operations Manager

?? London (Hybrid, 3-4 days in-office)

?? Contract until end of 2025 (potential to go permanent)

?? £300-400/day DOE

An eCommerce and retail business in London is looking for a Senior Commercial and Operations Manager to join their London team on a contract basis. This hybrid role supports finance operations, ensures commercial agreements align with group standards, and acts as a strategic partner to Sales.

You'll work cross-functionally to ensure accurate financial reporting, streamlined admin processes, and compliant cost allocations-playing a key role in month-end closes and ongoing process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and improve administrative operations
  • Review and track commercial agreements (SOAs, trade promotions, marketing)
  • Liaise with Sales to translate terms into financial reporting
  • Process D2C/B2C orders in JDE and manage delivery tracking
  • Support monthly/annual closures and reconciliations
  • Drive improvements across finance, admin, logistics, and sales workflows

Requirements

  • 5+ years in finance/admin roles within structured, international environments
  • Strong knowledge of trade promotions and sales agreements
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (ideally JDE) and advanced Excel
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and confident working cross-functionally
  • Able to align local processes with group compliance and reporting standards
