Job Description:

Coopman Search and Selection is partnering exclusively with a leading quantitative investment firm focused on systematic trading strategies in global markets. The role reports directly to the Operations Manager based in London.

This is a newly created role critical for ensuring seamless onboarding of portfolio managers (PMs) and their trading strategies within the organization. It requires operational expertise, project management skills, and an interest or understanding of trading and hedge fund environments. The role also encompasses broader middle office responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end onboarding processes for new portfolio managers, including account setup, infrastructure, and connectivity for trading.
• Coordinate with compliance, legal, IT, risk, and operations teams to meet onboarding requirements.
• Facilitate trading account establishment and ensure compliance with counterparty requirements.
• Oversee data integrations, execution workflows, and performance monitoring setups.
• Ensure proper documentation and configuration of trading systems and platforms.
• Develop and maintain onboarding project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Serve as the primary contact for onboarding queries and provide stakeholder updates.
• Liaise with external brokers, exchanges, and data providers for smooth onboarding.
• Maintain communication with portfolio managers to address their needs.

Experience Required:

• 4-7 years in operations, onboarding, or related roles within hedge funds, asset management, or financial services.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and relevant financial/operational software; OMS/EMS experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams and regions.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
