Job Description:

A multi-billion dollar AUM Hedge Fund is looking to make a newly created hire for its expanding London office.

The hire will report directly to the European Head of Operations / Middle Office and will be a SME for equities, taking ownership of operations and middle office tasks for the firm’s expanding equities investment strategy. As many tasks are outsourced, the role focuses on analytical tasks, oversight of external service providers, and project work, mainly related to infrastructure buildout or support for equities investment professionals. The hire will act as a first point of contact for the European equities business, engaging with multiple Prime Brokers.

The firm has a strong progression culture. The initial plan is for the hire to develop into an ‘Operations Manager’. Other team members have moved into roles such as desk assistant, business management, treasury, and change management, offering various future progression opportunities. Top performers may also have the chance to transfer internally to international offices.

Candidates should have 5-10 years of experience in hedge fund operations, with a strong background in equities, excellent academics, and robust tech skills.

The role offers a salary range of £80-110k initially, with top performers earning significant bonuses.
