Job Description:

A multi-billion dollar AUM hedge fund is looking to make a newly created hire for its expanding London office.

The hire will report directly to the European Head of Operations / Middle Office and will be a SME for equities, taking ownership of operations and middle office tasks related to the firm’s expanding equities investment strategy. As many tasks are outsourced, the focus will be on analytical tasks, oversight of external service providers, and project work, primarily related to infrastructure buildout or support for equities investment professionals. The hire will serve as a first point of contact for the European equities business, liaising with multiple Prime Brokers.

The firm values strong progression and development; the initial aim is for the hire to develop into an ‘Operations Manager’. Opportunities for internal transfers to international offices and progression into roles such as desk assistant, business management, treasury, or change management are available for top performers.

Candidates should have 5-10 years of experience in hedge fund operations, a strong background in equities, excellent academic credentials, and strong technical skills.

The role offers a salary of up to £80-110k, with significant bonus potential for top performers.
