Job Description:

A multi-billion dollar AUM Hedge Fund is looking to make a newly created hire for its expanding London office.

The hire will report directly to the European Head of Operations / Middle Office and will serve as an SME for equities, taking ownership of operations and middle office tasks related to the firm’s expanding equities investment strategy. As many tasks are outsourced, a core focus will be on analytical tasks, oversight of external service providers, and project work, primarily focused on infrastructure buildout and support for equities investment professionals. The hire will act as a first point of contact for the European equities business, liaising with multiple Prime Brokers.

The firm has a strong progression culture. While the initial focus is on developing into an ‘Operations Manager’, other career paths within the global operations team include roles in desk assistance, business management, treasury, and change management. There is potential for internal transfer to international offices for top performers.

Candidates should have 5-10 years of experience in hedge fund operations, with a strong background in equities, excellent academic credentials, and strong technical skills.
