Job Description:

A multi-billion dollar AUM Hedge Fund is looking to make a newly created hire for its expanding London office.

The hire will report directly to the European Head of Operations / Middle Office and will be a SME for equities, taking ownership of operations and middle office tasks related to the firm’s expanding equities investment strategy. As many tasks are outsourced, a core focus will be on analytical tasks, oversight of external service providers, and project work, primarily focused on infrastructure buildout and support for equities investment professionals. The hire will serve as a first point of contact for the European equities business, liaising with multiple Prime Brokers.

The firm values a strong progression culture. While the initial role is for development into an ‘Operations Manager’, there are opportunities for progression into roles such as desk assistant, business management, treasury, or change management. Top performers may also have the chance to transfer internally to international offices in the future.

Candidates should have 5-10 years of experience in hedge fund operations, with a strong background in equities, excellent academic credentials, and strong technical skills.

The role offers a salary between £80-110k, with top performers earning significant bonuses.
