Job summary

Gilbert-Ash Ltd. seeks an experienced Project Manager to plan, direct and deliver building projects across the UK and Ireland. You will lead on-site operations, manage the design-to-handover process and coordinate with the Contracts Manager and Project Director to meet time, budget and quality targets.

You will manage multi-disciplinary teams, oversee subcontractors, ensure safety compliance and maintain strong client relations, reporting progress and any issues to Senior Management.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience of planning, directing and coordination of projects.
• 3 years’ experience of managing and coordinating multi-discipline teams.
• Proven track record negotiating and monitoring sub-contractors.
• Experience in Health and Safety Assessments / Inspections.
• Experience in managing client expectations and delivering reports to Senior Management.
• Experience carrying out appraisals and maintaining technical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project from design through handover to client, ensuring targets are met.
• On-site daily management of operations, keeping time, budget and quality on track.
• Chair and attend weekly progress reviews with GA site and subcontractors.
• Ensure adequate labour and subcontract resources, coordinating with the Contracts Manager/Project Director.
• Oversee procurement and deliveries; liaise with Design Team for timely issue of information.
• Maintain site records, safety inspections and compliance with ISO standards.
