Job summary

Galliford Try Group seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead high-value, multi-site constructions in Edinburgh. You will oversee planning, delivery, and completion, ensuring safety, quality, profitability and client satisfaction while guiding project teams, subcontractors, and client relationships.

You will manage staffing, quality systems, and performance, promoting health, safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Design & Build, new build and refurbishment projects.
• Proven management of multi-site projects valued over £30m.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and develop staffing levels to meet workloads.
• Ensure quality management systems are in place to maintain standards.
• Monitor team performance and provide coaching or corrective actions.
• Lead with a Health, Safety and Sustainability culture.
• Manage client staff and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Attend external pre-start meetings and establish strong client relationships.
• Oversee project setup and embed company systems and procedures.
• Monitor progress and address issues proactively.
• Administer the valuation system to maximise cash flow and commercial outcomes.
• Promote continuous improvement across the project lifecycle.
• Ensure delivery aligns with employer requirements.
