Job summary

Baker Hughes is expanding its offshore Wireline team in the UK, seeking a Senior Wireline Field Engineer with experience in electric line logging or downhole tractor operations. You will provide technical expertise to support multiple customer projects and deliver operational excellence.

The role involves rigging up and testing downhole tools at wellsites, supervising junior engineers, acquiring data, and interpreting logs.

Qualifications

• HND or degree in an engineering subject.
• Extensive wireline operations experience.
• Fluent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Rig up, test downhole tools at the wellsite and coordinate with crew members.
• Supervise the training of less experienced engineers and personnel.
• Acquire downhole data, prepare logs and reports, document, receive and test equipment and products.
• Advise Customer Representatives during logging operations; interpret logging data, troubleshoot and wellsite analysis.
