Job summary

Noble Corporation is seeking an Electronics Technician to maintain and repair rig electronic control systems on MODUs. You will troubleshoot, implement safe maintenance procedures and support the Technical Supervisor to uphold the Noble Maintenance System.

You will lead and coach junior technicians, communicate across crews, and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental policies. The role requires strong fault-finding and system knowledge, with a focus on continuous uptime.

Qualifications

• Recognized trade qualification in electronics or equivalent.
• 5+ years of documented experience as an Electronics Technician on a MODU.
• Completion of all training requirements for the position within designated time period.
• If working on DP Semi-submersibles, Flag State Maintenance Supervisor license is required.
• Superior troubleshooting skills and techniques.
• Complete understanding and use of the Noble Maintenance System.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach, motivate and mentor others.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair all electronic equipment onboard the rig.
• Ensure that incomplete repairs are finished safely, on time and efficiently to minimize backlog.
• Keep equipment failure within contractual limits.
• Accurately log permits, isolation tags and equipment status.
• Regularly inspect work sites and ensure work is within permit constraints.
• Track PLCs and software versions and update as required.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards onboard the rig.
• Foster good two-way communication with crew members.
• Assist in developing newly appointed team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
