Job summary
Noble Corporation seeks an experienced marine engineer to maintain mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems on an offshore DP MODU. You will work with the maintenance department to uphold safety and environmental compliance while ensuring reliable power, cooling, lube oil and fuel systems.
Strong troubleshooting and drawing-reading skills are essential. Ideal candidates hold a recognized marine/engineering qualification, offshore survival/medical certificates, and a DP MODU background,
Qualifications
- Qualified marine/engineering professional with recognized certification.
- Offshore safety and medical certificates as required.
- Experience as engineer on a DP MODU, preferably as 2nd Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Responsibilities
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems per Noble maintenance system and regulatory requirements.
- Perform daily inspections and diagnose malfunctions, addressing hazards promptly.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment; identify root causes of failures.
- Monitor power plant controls and distribution to ensure continuous power.
- Operate and maintain engine cooling, lube oil, and fuel systems.
- Maintain PMS records and manage inventories for safe operation.
