Job summary

5 Star Recruitment is seeking an Experienced Occupational Therapist for Reablement in Chippenham. You will assess clients, plan support to enable independence, and work to safeguarding and policy standards.

The role requires HCPC registration, a recognised OT degree, and post-qualification experience with adults in reablement contexts. You will supervise colleagues and liaise with partners to deliver cost-effective, client‑centred care.

Qualifications

• Registered with the HCPC as an Occupational Therapist.
• Significant post-qualification experience in a similar setting (likely 2+ years).
• Experience of working with adults and in reablement or intermediate care.
• Ability to supervise and support staff and learners.
• Excellent ICT skills including standard software and health/social care systems.

Responsibilities

• Undertake OT assessments with customers and plan for support to meet outcomes.
• Support carers to continue in their role.
• Provide professional supervision and guidance to colleagues within locality.
• Deliver services in line with social care and housing legislation and safeguarding policies.
• Work in partnership with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies.
