Job summary

Busy Bees Nurseries Ltd. in Woking is seeking a Senior Nursery Room Leader to oversee multiple baby rooms, drive the Bee Curious curriculum, and set high standards of care and learning.

You will lead and empower a team, ensuring engaging, inclusive experiences for early years learners. Based at the 64-place Woking Noahs Ark centre, a woodland setting with four barns, on-site farm, woodland walks and forest school, you will mentor Room Leaders and liaise with families while ensuring health and

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting with supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure educational strategies are consistent across multiple rooms.
• Lead planning and delivery of activities, adapting the curriculum to meet children's needs.
• Mentor and develop Room Leaders, promoting a collaborative team.
• Oversee wellbeing and safeguarding of children, with additional needs adaptations.
• Foster strong relationships with parents and keep them informed of development.
• Ensure health, safety and safeguarding protocols across the centre.

What to Expect as a Senior Nursery Room Leader:

• Ensure that educational strategies and practices are consistent across multiple rooms.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory or leadership experience ideally as a Senior Nursery Room Leader, Senior Nursery Room Manager or Senior Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive environment for both children and team members.
