Job summary

Busy Bees Nurseries in Bristol Emersons Green is seeking a Senior Nursery Room Leader to oversee multiple rooms and drive consistent educational strategies across the centre. You will inspire and mentor staff to achieve high standards of care and learning, while safeguarding and engaging families.

Ideal candidates hold Level 3 in Early Years or higher, with proven leadership experience in an early years setting.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education is required.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills are essential.
• Experience supervising or leading in an early years setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure educational strategies and practices are consistent across multiple rooms.
• Lead the planning and delivery of activities, adapting the curriculum to meet diverse needs.
• Mentor and develop Room Leaders, promoting a collaborative and high-performing team.
• Oversee wellbeing and safeguarding of children, including those with additional needs.
• Foster strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed of development.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and safeguarding protocols across the centre.

What To Expect As a Senior Nursery Room Leader

• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive environment for both children and team members.
