Job summary

Busy Bees is seeking a Senior Nursery Room Leader in Gloucester to oversee multiple rooms, drive consistency in educational strategies, and lead a high-performing team. The role focuses on safeguarding, curriculum delivery, and strong parent communication within a Good-rated, evolving nursery.

You will mentor Room Leaders, support staff development, and ensure inclusive care aligned with Busy Bees’ Bee Curious curriculum and policies.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting with supervisory or leadership experience (Senior Nursery Room Leader/Manager).
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive environment for children and team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure educational strategies and practices are consistent across multiple rooms.
• Lead the planning and delivery of activities, adapting the curriculum to meet diverse needs.
• Mentor and develop Room Leaders, promoting a collaborative and high-performing team.
• Oversee wellbeing and safeguarding of children, supporting those with additional needs.
• Build strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed of development.
• Ensure health, safety and safeguarding protocols across the centre.

• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive environment for both children and team members.
