Busy Bees Sittingbourne in the UK is seeking a Senior Nursery Room Leader to oversee multiple rooms, ensuring educational strategies are integrated across the centre and delivering high standards of care and learning.

You will mentor Room Leaders, support safeguarding and health protocols, and build strong relationships with parents while championing the Busy Bees Bee Curious curriculum and our community initiatives.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting with supervisory or leadership responsibility.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive environment for children and staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure educational strategies are consistent across multiple rooms.
• Lead planning and delivery of activities, adapting the curriculum for diverse needs.
• Mentor and develop Room Leaders, promoting a collaborative team.
• Oversee wellbeing and safeguarding, supporting children with additional needs.
• Foster strong relationships with parents and keep them informed.
• Ensure health, safety and safeguarding protocols across the centre.

What to Expect as a Senior Nursery Room Leader:

Ideal Candidate:

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory or leadership experience ideally as a Senior Nursery Room Leader, Senior Nursery Room Manager or Senior Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive environment for both children and team members.
