Job summary

Busy Bees Warwick Day Nursery and Preschool is looking for a Senior Nursery Room Leader to oversee multiple rooms and ensure learning and care follow a consistent educational approach. You will inspire and mentor your team to deliver high standards of care while supporting children's development.

The ideal candidate will have Level 3 childcare qualifications or higher, proven leadership experience in an early years setting, and a passion for creating inclusive environments that support babies

Qualifications

• Level 3 childcare qualification or higher.
• Experience in an early years setting with supervisory or leadership responsibilities.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Able to foster an inclusive environment for children and staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure educational strategies are consistent across multiple rooms.
• Plan and deliver activities, adapting the curriculum to diverse needs.
• Mentor and develop Room Leaders, promoting a collaborative team.
• Oversee wellbeing and safeguarding, supporting children with additional needs.
• Foster strong relationships with parents and keep them informed of development.
• Ensure health, safety and safeguarding protocols are followed across the centre.

What to Expect as a Senior Nursery Room Leader:

• Ensure that educational strategies and practices are consistent across multiple rooms.
• Lead the planning and delivery of activities, adapting the curriculum to meet the diverse needs of the children.
• Mentor and develop Room Leaders, promoting a collaborative and high-performing team.
• Oversee the wellbeing and safeguarding of children, making necessary adaptations to support children with additional needs.
• Foster strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed of their child's development.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding protocols across the centre.

Ideal Candidate:

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory or leadership experience ideally as a Senior Nursery Room Leader, Senior Nursery Room Manager or Senior Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive environment for both children and team members.
