Busy Bees Quedgeley, Gloucester, is recruiting a Senior Nursery Room Leader to oversee multiple rooms, align educational strategies, and drive high standards of care and learning across the centre.

You will mentor Room Leaders, ensure safeguarding, and build strong relationships with parents while supporting the Bee Curious curriculum. This role offers professional development within Busy Bees and opportunities to contribute to a nurturing, inclusive environment.

Formación

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting with supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure educational strategies are consistent across multiple rooms.
• Lead planning and delivery of activities adapting the curriculum to meet the diverse needs of the children.
• Mentor and develop Room Leaders, promoting a collaborative and high-performing team.
• Oversee the wellbeing and safeguarding of children, making necessary adaptations to support children with additional needs.
• Foster strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed of their child's development.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding protocols across the centre.

What To Expect As a Senior Nursery Room Leader

Ideal Candidate

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory or leadership experience ideally as a Senior Nursery Room Leader, Senior Nursery Room Manager or Senior Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive environment for both children and team members.
