Job summary

Busy Bees Nurseries is seeking a Senior Nursery Room Leader to drive educational delivery across multiple rooms at a Busy Bees centre in the UK. You will mentor Room Leaders, oversee safeguarding, and ensure consistent child-focused strategies in line with our Bee Curious curriculum.

The ideal candidate holds Level 3 in early years education with supervisory experience and excels in leadership, organisation, and communication to support a diverse team and families.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in early years education.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in an early years setting is desirable.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent educational strategies across multiple rooms.
• Lead planning and delivery of activities, adapting curriculum to diverse needs.
• Mentor and develop Room Leaders, promoting collaboration and high performance.
• Oversee wellbeing and safeguarding of children and adapt support for additional needs.
• Foster strong relationships with parents and keep them informed about development.
• Ensure health, safety and safeguarding protocols are followed centre-wide.

Ideal Candidate

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory or leadership experience ideally as a Senior Nursery Room Leader, Senior Nursery Room Manager or Senior Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive environment for both children and team members.
