Job summary

The Old Station Nursery is seeking a Level 2/3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our Rubery team in Birmingham. You will create a warm, stimulating environment for children, plan play-based activities aligned with EYFS, and build strong relationships with families and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• All roles require enhanced DBS checks and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
• Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
• Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
