Job summary

The Old Station Nursery Group in Walsall is seeking a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner for term-time only. You will create a warm, nurturing environment, plan engaging EYFS activities, and build strong relationships with families while supporting daily nursery operations.

Applicants must hold Level 2/3 Early Years qual or QTS. DBS checks and right to work in the UK are required; sponsorship is not available.

• Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
• Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.

• Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
• Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
• Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others.

Pay:£13.21 per hour - Term time only.
Working Hours:40 hours - Monday to Friday

About our Nursery

Our nursery in Walsall is set in a converted house in a quiet residential area of Walsall. The nursery consists of five bright rooms divided by age group. All rooms are carefully planned and organised with age-appropriate resources and furniture that encourage children to explore and make independent choices. We are on located on Birchfield way, just along from Yew Tree Primary School and opposite Walsall Golf Club. We are a short drive from the M6 and near to Bescot Stadium Train Station. Parking is available outside the nursery for convenience.
