As a Senior Nuclear Safety Engineer in 'Aerospace, Defence, Security and Technology' (ADS&T), you'll play a vital role in shaping your projects. You'll collaborate with talented colleagues across disciplines to provide safety case leadership, support, and delivery. Working closely with clients, you'll be trusted to develop and implement solutions for complex problems.

Your purpose:

We aim to deliver significant defence-related programmes across the UK, including design and construction of infrastructure, life extensions, upgrades, ongoing operations, and decommissioning. Your responsibilities include:

• Shaping the nuclear safety case strategy.
• Ensuring safety-informed design through collaboration with project partners.
• Engaging stakeholders to facilitate 'Right First Time' delivery (including designers, clients, site, and regulators like DNSR, ONR).
• Conducting safety assessments and analyses (e.g., HAZID, HAZOP, FMEA, HAZAN).
• Producing safety reports and technical documents (e.g., PSR, PCSR, ALARP reports).
• Supporting Engineering Substantiation activities.
• Managing and leading Safety Case activities and teams.

Our offices are based in Bristol, Manchester, Silchester, or Glasgow, with flexibility in work location to accommodate client needs.

• Honours Degree (or equivalent) in physics, mechanical engineering, or related discipline (minimum 2:1).
• Chartered status or working towards it.
• Technical practitioner experience in Nuclear/Defence domains demonstrating sound engineering judgment.
