Job summary

Delve Search - Global Search Consultants is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead NPD/NPI programs for an established international engineering manufacturer in Leicestershire. You will coordinate Mechanical, Electronics, Software and Manufacturing teams, manage budgets and schedules, and drive PMO governance across R&D projects.

You will influence engineers and senior stakeholders, ensuring delivery from concept to production launch in a structured, on-site PMO environment.

Qualifications

NPD/NPI projects involving complex electromechanical equipment or engineered products.
Strong planning, budgeting, resource allocation and risk management skills.
Experience coordinating mechanical, electronics and software teams.
Familiar with traditional/waterfall PM; Agile or hybrid approaches helpful.
Practical, adaptable approach with ability to influence engineers and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead complex engineering projects from initial requirements through prototype development, production readiness and launch.
Develop and manage project plans, budgets, resources, milestones and delivery schedules.
Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring clear priorities and accountability.
Identify project risks, resolve delivery challenges and communicate progress to senior stakeholders.
Help establish PMO processes, project reporting and governance, improving consistency across R&D programmes.
