Job summary

Candour Talent Ltd in Newport seeks a Project Engineer to join a growing electronics manufacturing facility. You will oversee engineering changes for existing products and coordinate NPIs, acting as a bridge between stakeholders.

The role requires hands-on NPI experience, AS9100 knowledge, and LEAN competencies, with responsibility for delivering on-time designs, sign-offs, and customer satisfaction. Excellent communication and mentoring skills are essential.

Qualifications

Experience in electronics manufacturing environment.
NPI experience is essential.
Knowledge of AS9100/AS9102 aerospace standards.
Lean manufacturing knowledge (5S).
Ability to design and develop production processes.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

Track and manage engineering changes.
Lead engineering on customer projects with plans and sign-offs.
Attend customer meetings and coordinate with teams.
Lead early-stage process design before NPI/build.
Identify lean improvements and cost details for bids.
Report progress and escalations to cross-functional teams.
Verify designs against standards before manufacture and post-build verification.
