Job summary

Redline Group Ltd in East Sussex is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the NPI Development team and collaborate with design staff to deliver new electronic controllers and assemblies to the highest standards.

You will drive manufacturability and cost-effectiveness, oversee prototype builds, participate in PFMEA/DFMEA, and work with Operations to optimise layouts and tooling for efficient, scalable production.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a manufacturing or production team.
• Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI/NPD) in electronics assembly.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, preferably SAP.
• Engineering degree or equivalent with knowledge of PCB assembly techniques.

Responsibilities

• Lead the NPI Development team and coordinate with design staff.
• Oversee prototype builds and document PFMEA/DFMEA activities.
• Collaborate with Operations to optimize layouts and tooling for assembly.
• Ensure cost-effective manufacturability of new parts.
