Job summary

Mane Contract Services is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead major projects across its product portfolio in Stoke-on-Trent. You will manage multidisciplinary teams through the full lifecycle from concept development to manufacturing, with a focus on quality, cost and schedule compliance.

You will coordinate engineering activities, develop technical specifications, and ensure successful product validation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex engineering projects.
• Experience with new product introduction and product lifecycle management.
• Experience collaborating with R&D, product management and manufacturing teams.
• Strong understanding of design reviews, technical specifications, testing and product validation.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee engineering project activities across multiple product lines.
• Lead new product introduction programmes, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
• Develop and maintain project plans, technical specifications, product requirements and test documentation.
• Conduct design reviews to ensure technical compliance and completeness.
• Collaborate with R&D to introduce new technologies and improve engineering methods.
• Work with product management to develop product goals, roadmaps and technical strategies.
• Monitor market and technology trends to identify opportunities and minimise project risks.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the product lifecycle and support end-of-life activities.
• Support bids and proposals with concept development, technical responses and cost estimates.
