Job summary

Babcock International is seeking a Non-Nuclear Senior Support Engineer for our Devonport Royal Dockyard site. You will support management, compliance, safety and long-term stewardship of non-nuclear assets, helping ensure infrastructure remains safe and fit for the future while informing investment decisions with national capability in mind.

Day-to-day you’ll conduct asset surveys and technical assessments, manage asset registration and deviations, and collaborate with maintenance and project

Qualifications

• Experience supporting asset management, maintenance or compliance activities.
• Understanding of engineering design principles and safe engineering practices.
• Awareness of statutory legislation relating to non-nuclear assets.
• Experience with Maximo or similar CAFM systems.

Responsibilities

• Support asset management, compliance and safety activities across non-nuclear plant assets.
• Conduct asset surveys, investigations and technical assessments to support informed decision-making.
• Manage asset registration, disposal, concessions and deviation processes in line with business requirements.
• Collaborate with maintenance, project and operational teams to improve asset performance and compliance.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to support long-term infrastructure and investment strategies.
